When something blue is the Indian Ocean, and something borrowed is a fragrant flower that’s fallen from a nearby frangipani, who wouldn’t want their dream wedding in Bali? You won’t find any stuffy ballrooms or bog-standard table settings here. Instead, Bali’s most beautiful wedding venues are all about glamorous locations with wow-worthy views, and some of the most intricate decorations around, courtesy of the island’s expert wedding planners.
So, to help you dance your way down a shell-dotted aisle or a floral forest footpath, we’ve found 14 of Bali’s most breathtaking wedding venues for your Big Day in paradise, from dazzling clifftop chapels to magical jungle hideaways, and everything else fabulous in between. And if you fancy something a little more private? Check out our roundup of Bali’s best wedding villas too.
1. The Wedding Deck & Tresna Chapel at AYANA Resort & Spa Bali
As one of the world’s leading resorts, it’s no surprise AYANA Resort & Spa Bali has some exceptional wedding venues to suit – 11 to be exact. Our fave is located within the palatial AYANA Villa – a 3000 square-metre secluded, cliff-edge venue with its own wedding deck that appears to float above the Indian Ocean. Now that’s magic. But if you’re after something more traditional, try the Tresna Chapel – a fully air-conditioned venue with shimmering ocean views, a private driveway with porte-cochere, a VIP Bridal Villa, and a see-through glass aisle with a flowing, stone-lined river leading to the magnificent glass altar. As far as heavenly weddings in paradise go, it doesn’t get much dreamier than this.
Best for: A stunning collection of venue options, each with incredible views and distinctive setups.
Guestlist: Maximum 200 guests at AYANA Villa & up to 80 guests at Tresna Chapel.
2. Majestic Chapel at The Ritz-Carlton Bali
If you’ve been browsing the Insta-verse for wedding venue ideas, you will have spotted the Majestic Chapel at The Ritz-Carlton Bali in Nusa Dua. Aptly named, the chapel is as breathtaking as its backdrop, which is the endless sparkling ocean that’s visible through floor-to-ceiling glass walls. And if a chapel venue isn’t for you? Fret not brides-to-be, because the resort’s expansive lawns and pristine beachfront are available to book for a dreamy outdoor wedding too. And the kicker? You can lock in a pre-wedding package if you want to treat yourself before the Big Day, which includes a couple’s massage, your own wedding butler to help with your personal wedding prep, and a buggy to take you around the resort for your pre-wedding shoots. So luxe!
